Joseph Stalin Biography
Joseph Stalin was one of history’s most infamous men. To most people he is only looked upon as the ruler of Russia and the Soviet Union in WWII, but this description of Stalin is not even close to breaking the outer layer of who Stalin really was. Stalin was one of the most ruthless, paranoid, and mentally insane rulers of all time. In the four last years of WWII Joseph Stalin had killed twenty million of his own people. Most of these victims were innocent civilians of Russia that were executed either because they didn’t want to fight, were accused of being spies, or despised him. Many other casualties calculated in were political leaders accused of assassination attempts or accused of trying to overthrow him and take the chair.
Joe Stalin was a political prisoner long before WWII had even started. In prison he acquired the name Stalin which means “Man of Steel.” He was called that name because he was very tough and no-one could harm him in any way. He survived the prison camps by being aggressive and keeping mentally and physically strong.
It is often said that Stalin took control of Russia to take revenge on the political leaders that imprisoned him. When he became leader one of his goals was to imprison or execute the people that stood in his way.
Stalin never took disrespect from anyone. These characteristics are the reasons he stayed so powerful through the entire war and beyond until his death.
